They might not be able to get a spot in a Broadway show, but some birds can dance.
The findings, detailed May 26 issue of the journal Current Biology, might actually shed light on how humans came to invent steps from the waltz to the Electric Slide.
Dancing as we think of it has generally been thought to be a skill that only humans possessed (well, some of us).

Vice President Joe Biden said today to avoid subways and other confined spaces because of the swine flu sweeping the nation. And yesterday, the first U.S. swine flu death - a toddler - and the decision by health officials to ratchet up their global alert level to just below a full-on pandemic came as a jolt to the system.

Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso held out agreements on fighting the financial crisis, global warming and swine flu as evidence of deepening ties with sometime rival China Thursday, sidestepping tensions over the past.
But Chinese President Hu Jintao did not appear to offer Aso much hope of an early end to North Korean threats.

A nuclear power station at Chinon in central France was evacuated on Thursday after a phone call warning of a bomb, power supplier EDF said.
The nuclear plant was still functioning, EDF added.
EDF said the anonymous phone call was made at 0355 GMT and that, while searches continued, the core areas of the plant had been secured.

A gunman opened fire at Azerbaijan’s prestigious oil industry academy on Thursday, killing 12 people and wounding 13 before turning the gun on himself, the government said.
Gadyrov then shot and killed himself with the gun, a Makarov pistol, when he saw police approaching, the statement said. It mentioned no motive for the attack.

The drug Tysabri (natalizumab) appears to regenerate and stabilize damage done to the myelin sheath in people with multiple sclerosis , a study from drug makers Biogen Idec and Elan Corp shows.
In this study, researchers used advanced MRI technology to measure lesions and normal brain tissue in patients who took either Tysabri, interferon beta-1a, or no drugs.
